For more than 150 years, the black and gold kite has remained the most recognizable symbol of our beloved Fraternity. Walking proudly to the front of the chapel, our founders proudly donned their kite badges for all to see that the sisterhood of Kappa Alpha Theta was taking flight. The Black & Gold Brut was created in honor of celebrating the best of times with our Theta sisters.
We introduce to you “Black & Gold”. This premium sparkling wine – meticulously and artfully made using the traditional champagne method – rivals anything found in the best Champagne houses in Épernay and Reims. Blended superbly from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this magnificent Napa Valley Brut exhibits rich fruit aromatics of strawberry and delicate white cherry that follow through to a creamy mid-palate accompanied with highlights of lime and wet minerality and a lingering vibrant finish.

Twin Stars:

On every Theta badge since 1870, the Twin Stars have shined. Over 250,000 members have since worn the Theta badge, understanding the special meaning of the Twin Stars. The badge fastened above our hearts reminds us of the connection we share through ritual and sisterhood with members today, tomorrow, and from decades past.

Our Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara County experiences a lengthy and cool growing season that is similar to the climate of the Burgundy region of east-central France. Unlike Burgundy, our Pinot Noir experiences dense fog that rolls in off the Pacific Ocean; this fog contributes to the ideal climate for Pinot Noir, offering just enough moisture to be beneficial without lingering too long.

Twin Stars has aromas of cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and brown sugar with notes of baking spices. On the palate, the wine opens with bright, fruit flavors of strawberries, leading to a round mouthfeel on the mid-palate and soft, velvety tannins on a long, elegant finish.

Aspiring Theta:

The aspirational messages of Kappa Alpha Theta are near and dear to the hearts of members, along with the kite as a guiding symbol. For years, Thetas have aspired to grow into better versions of themselves whether it’s through personal or professional endeavors. Aspiring Theta captures the essence of what it means to be a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.

We introduce you to Aspiring Theta. This 2020 Chardonnay is a real gem. Hailing from the cool and foggy climate of the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, this beautiful medium-bodied wine was grown slowly to build intense flavors over time. This wine was aged in French oak and displays a beautiful balance of fruit, oak and liveliness on the palate and exhibits lush mango and toasted almond. Balanced fruit with tart acidity makes this wine a classic example of Premium Russian River Chardonnay.

Loyally, the special valediction shared between members, speaks to the lifelong bonds created by Theta. This one simple word exemplifies our commitment to stand by each other through all of life’s triumphs and challenges.

Our flagship Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic representation of the appellation’s preeminent varietal. Notes of black cherry, blackberry, and plum are complemented by hits of toasted oak, dried currant, and baking spice. Fine-grained tannins and ample brightness on the palate give way to a polished mouthfeel and exceptionally long finish.
